The interactive image--which is made up of 2,947 photographs--allows you to zoom in on parts of the room to see the frescos, books, and more in exquisite, super-sharp detail. In total, the image is made up of 280,000 x 140,000 pixels, with a total resolution of 40 billion pixels.

The MAME-CAM DX Thanko camera weighs just 14g and the company say as well as shooting stills at a resolution of 3264x2448px the camera also has HD video capabilities with a 1280x960px (AVI) resolution at 30fps.
The camera takes microSD and micro SDHC cards and information is transferred to a computer via the camera's USB 2.0 port.
The miniature camera is currently only available in Japan for ¥7,980 (£61).
