Girl power has triumphed again! This month's winner is Alison Pangbourne with her great image entitled "Garden Sculpture"
Alison only started entering competitions this season so it just goes to show that 'newbies' can beat more advanced members. If you haven't plucked up the courage to enter club competitions then why not give it a go in the February competition which has the theme of "RUST".
The committee has produced 3 new documents that are important to the club.
Child Protection Policy
These can be viewed and downloaded by clicking on the links above
Dave now has a Flickr page containing a great selection of his images and it is well worth a look. There is a link on the 'LINKS' page or click HERE.
We shall again produce a calendar at the end of this year, this year's was a great success and sold out quite quickly and provided some much needed income for club funds. We again invite all club members to subscribe some images of Mersea for selection. Perhaps you took some christmas shots that would fit the December page? We are now approaching February which could provide us with some frosty/snowy scenes. So on with long-johns, coats and scarves and get out snapping!!
I am now awaiting your images for next months competition which has RUST as it's subject. Those of you that attended the Museum of Power meet will have probably taken some outdoor shots where there were a number of old relics laying around.
Other ideas include rusty padlocks, keys, hinges, anchors, chains etc. Please let me have your entries as soon as possible.
