Welcome...to the Mersea Island Photographic Society website. This site is intended to provide you with all the latest information and to be a point of contact for all club matters.
Our aim is to promote and foster all aspects of photography, to support and encourage individuals to improve their photographic skills, and to maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere. Our members have a varied level of experience, from absolute beginner to more advanced photographer. Each year we strive to provide a diverse and high quality programme of events and activities to meet their interests and requirements. We encourage visits by individuals and groups with similar interests, and regularly organise competitive and non-competitive events for the participation, enjoyment and benefit of all. If you want to learn new skills, develop new techniques or simply spend time with like-minded people, then M.I.P.S is for you.
